The fellowship desk

Your scholarship should deepen the child's pediatric home.

SKIDS honours pediatric subspeciality. If you already have a subspeciality, we help you build a SKIDS practice around it. If you want to study further, we want to understand what you want to learn and how it can serve children better.

What we believe

A speciality is not a departure from pediatrics. It is a deeper way to serve the child.

Pediatrics is broad by nature. Some pediatricians go deeper in endocrinology, neurology, rheumatology, sleep, development, nutrition, behaviour, or another field. That scholarship deserves respect, visibility, and the right clinical home.

In SKIDS, subspeciality is not treated as a separate island. It sits inside the same child record, the same parent relationship, the same school context, and the same whole-child philosophy.

SKIDS celebrates pediatric scholarship, but keeps the child whole.
How to engage

Four ways the fellowship desk can work with you.

01

You already hold a subspeciality

Bring that depth into a SKIDS practice where your scholarship is visible, organised, and connected to the child's everyday pediatric record.

02

You want to study further

Speak with the SKIDS fellowship team about the areas you want to pursue and how that learning can grow inside a whole-child pediatric system.

03

You want to teach and build

Help shape protocols, mentor younger pediatricians, and turn specialist knowledge into care pathways families can actually use.

04

You want a practice, not a silo

Run subspeciality care with the support of the clinic, allied team, school signals, parent communication, and one longitudinal record.

Already trained

Start a SKIDS practice with your subspeciality recognised.

Tell us what you have trained in, what patient group you care most about, and what support would make your practice easier to run.

Want to study

Reach the fellowship team before you choose the next credential.

We are interested in pediatricians who want scholarship to become service: care pathways, protocols, teaching, and better outcomes for children.

Write to the SKIDS fellowship team.

Send your MD Paeds year, current city, existing subspeciality or area of interest, and the kind of pediatric practice you want to build.
